Many of these pets have been exposed to so much street experience which is what makes them ALL very very friendly, amiable, and eager to love and be loved. It's quite the contrary of what some would speculate. They are in fact, and have proven to be in every home that we've placed these dogs-to be the most loving, joyous dogs with zero temperament/emotional issues.

Kikin is medium size great to go everywhere with his new family, he is very playful, has a good amount of energy that can be managed with proper exercise, affectionate, agile, high activity level that would make him an excellent companion on hikes and great to go on adventures outdoors. Kikin is very smart and would do great in a home where his humans can train and provide him attention. At one point he got some agility training in Mexico and did great. Kikin is very affectionate, a HUGGER and kisser. He also would need to be taught boundaries, discipline inside a home and basic obedience since he has always lived outdoors. He is very social and playful with other dogs. He is good with adults and children. He approaches people when they speak to him sweetly. Attached here are a few pictures. He is taken out on walks but does spend many hours in a kennel so when he comes out starts running a lot, of course in a home with a schedule and adequate exercise and training he would adjust great.

Having a medium energy level, she enjoys a lazy day every now and then specially if belly rubs are involved. Harley loves being around her humans and playing with toys and other dogs and will be trained to walk on a leash. She’d likely do well in most environments as she is easygoing, would love a house with a yard to explore.
Harley was found in the busy downtown disoriented in the rain. Local volunteers rescued her as she didn’t know how to deal with traffic.

About Nube:
Just look at this beautiful transformation of only a few months from the time the women volunteers rescued her off the streets, to her time at the sanctuary in Uruapan! She is very gentle and sweet to all people and dogs, children and cats. She was rescued off of the streets when Teresa found her emaciated, filthy and in need of medical care. Since then, the women volunteers in Mexico cleaned her up, got her proper veterinary care, flew her to Los Angeles and now she's ready to be placed into a loving, nurturing, forever home. Nube walks very well on a leash, behaves perfectly in social settings such as pet-friendly restaurant patios, and would thrive in a home that can offer her attention, and a healthy lifestyle with dog park and beach visits. Toña is missing a part of her leg and will have a prosthetic, however one can hardly notice, it took me two days to realize she had a little part of her back leg missing. Toña was found with her daughter on the street in the town of Uruapan. She and her daughter had mange and were malnutrition, they were brought to health and flourished into beautiful playful dogs, her daughter was adopted but because Toña is missing a part of her paw she is still looking for her forever home. He may not respond to you or may not gravitate to you initially. Some of our dogs rescued as puppies behave confident and comfortable after 6 months.
